Nikos Stasinopoulos is President of the European Union Club
Main principles and objectives of the European Union Club:
- To promote the European idea, the objectives of the European Union and international cooperation – especially in Greece – through social, cultural and business activities.
- To promote the cooperation of European citizens who reside in Greece, in Europe and anywhere in the world.
- To bring the European Union closer to the citizen. To inform him on a regular basis about all the latest developments in the EU and about the benefits and obligations of belonging to it.
This is done by organising deates, by publishing relevant materials, by providing a platform for European diplomats, business people and people living in Greece, by establishing a network for European enterprise, by building bridges between people who share an interest in European and global concerns, by offering assistance, advice and information to European citizens wishing to settle in Greece, and by supporting exceptionally talented individuals of European nationality by way of granting scholarship and organizing exciting special events.
The European Union Club of Athens is a non-profit organization registered in Athens.
